We will reach out six weeks before your tour to organize group transports from the closest major city or airport (optional and at an additional cost).

🌊 How to arrive in Cefalù:

By Air: Fly into Palermo Falcone Borsellino Airport (PMO), then take a direct train (approx. 1 hr) or hire a private transfer. To reach the center of Palermo from PMO, we recommend taking a taxi or the direct train from PMO to Palermo Centrale.

By Train: Direct trains run from Palermo (1 hr) and Messina (2 hr).

By Car: Cefalù is about an hour’s drive from Palermo along the A20 motorway. Parking can be limited in the historic center and non-resident cars are not allowed inside the limited traffic zone (ZTL) in Cefalù.

✈️ How to arrive in Bologna:

By Air: Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport (BLQ) is the closest airport, just 15 minutes from the city center. From the airport the best way to reach Bologna centro is by taxi. Find the Taxi stand directly outside the airport as you exit.

By Train: Bologna Centrale is a major hub with high-speed connections from Milan (1 hr), Florence (40 min), Venice (1.5 hr)  and Rome (2 hr).

By Car: If driving, Bologna is well-connected via the A1 and A14 motorways. Please be aware it is almost impossible to drive into Bologna and parking is difficult and expensive. We recommend not having a vehicle during your stay.

🍷 How to arrive in Montepulciano:

By Air: Florence (FLR), Rome (FCO), and Pisa (PSA) airports are the best options, with Florence and Rome being the most convenient. To reach Roma Termini station from FCO, you can take a taxi or the Leonardo Express train directly from FCO to Roma Termini.

By Train: The nearest train station to Montepulciano is Chiusi-Chianciano Terme, about 30 minutes away by taxi. There are a few direct trains from Roma Termini to Chiusi-Chianciano Terme each day; several direct trains from Firenze Centrale daily; and 

By Car: Montepulciano is best reached by car from Florence (1.5 hrs) or Rome (2 hrs) via the A1 motorway. Parking is plentiful around the perimeter for a fee.

🏛️ How to arrive in Siracusa:

By Air: The nearest airport is Catania Fontanarossa (CTA), about 1 hour away by car. Shuttle buses and private transfers are available from the airport to Siracusa. 

By Train: Regional trains connect Catania and Siracusa in about 1.5 hours.

By Car: Siracusa is accessible via the A18 motorway from Catania. While there is parking available at the edge of Ortigia Island, there is no parking permitted for non-resident vehicles inside the ZTL (limited traffic zone) which includes most of the island.

🍷 How to arrive in Torino:

By Air:
Turin Caselle Airport (TRN) is the most convenient option and is located about 30 minutes from the city center. Milan Malpensa (MXP) is also a good alternative, about 1.5–2 hours away by train or car.

By Train:
Torino is very well connected by train. The main stations are Torino Porta Nuova and Torino Porta Susa, both centrally located. High-speed trains run frequently from Milan (about 1 hour), Florence (about 3 hours), and Rome (about 4–4.5 hours). From Milan Malpensa Airport, you can reach Torino by train with one change (usually in Milano Centrale or Milano Porta Garibaldi) or by private transfer.

By Car:
Torino is easily reached by car via major motorways, including the A4 from Milan (about 1.5 hours) and the A32 from the Susa Valley. Parking is available throughout the city, though limited in the historic center; garages and paid street parking are common.

🌅 How to arrive in Trani:

By Air: The closest airport is Bari Karol Wojtyła Airport (BRI), about 35 minutes away from Trani by car or train. From the airport, you will need to take a taxi to reach Bari Centrale train station from which you can take a short 30-40 minute train ride to Trani

By Train: Trani is on the main railway line between Bari and Foggia, with frequent regional trains departing from Bari approximately every half hour and the travel time to Trani is 30-40 minutes.

By Car: Trani is easily accessible via the A14 motorway.
