8️⃣ Tour size We limit the number of people on this tour to ensure a personal, small group environment, with plenty of opportunities to practice speaking in an authentic setting.
🇮🇹 Level of Italian We welcome Italian learners who have at least a foundation in the Italian language (B1 intermediate or more). If you’re not sure of your level, you can check this guide to do a self-assessment. If you have questions, please get in touch and we will help you determine if this trip is a good fit for you.
👟 Activity level The activity level of this trip is medium, with quite a bit of urban walking, steps, and some light hiking. We do a lot each day, so come prepared to be active.
🍝 Food We eat regional cuisine throughout the week. If you are vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant or have other allergies, intolerances or preferences your options may be more limited.
✅ Included: Lodging, all activities, local transport, gratuities for local guides and some meals (as noted) are included in the trip price.
❌ Not Included: airfare, transport to and from the tour start, tour director gratuity (at your discretion).
Cancellations, changes and refunds: Once you have paid your deposit, the remainder of the trip cost is due and will be invoiced 60 days prior to the start of the trip. Your deposit is non-refundable, but can be applied to a future trip (within 15 months from the original trip date) in the event you must cancel.
We recommend purchasing a trip insurance policy which includes ‘trip cancellation for any reason.’
We reserve the right to substitute an activity, venue or accommodation of equal value in the case of issues created by weather, cancellations, closures, strikes and other unpredictable events beyond our control. Participants will be notified as soon as possible of any changes. We reserve the right to adjust this itinerary before the tour begins based on the number of participants and participants’ level of Italian.
This tour requires a minimum of 6 participants to run as planned. That said, we make every effort to avoid cancellations and will proceed with fewer travelers whenever possible. In the event of trip cancellation by Vero Viaggio, you will be notified at least 60 days prior to the trip start and receive a 100% refund of your deposit.
